Our Editor Gets Proposed To...?

The first night at DCON is one of the best social gatherings for every member. Games, dances, and one-on-one advice from the board are just some of the activities. Anyway, Megan Mattson was doing her thing on the dance floor, when a random Key Clubber proposes to her. They tied the knot at the marriage booth (yes, there is a marriage booth....as well as cages and boats and bounce houses...).

Governor's Ball!

Don't be fooled...we key clubbers know how to partayyy! This picture was taken with some of the lovely officers from Boyd Key Club during the Governor's Ball! It sounds fancy but as you can tell by what we were wearing, it actually wasn't. Phew! You can bust a move in comfort!

President's Forum

There are SO MANY FORUMS! We're sure you will find many of these forums very helpful to you, like scholarships and time management, or fun, like scavenger hunting and ice breakers. Each forum has about 50 people, so you're bound to make friends. Plus, they always throw out free T-shirts and candy in the middle of the forum.

Dinner In Dallas

After a day filled with helpful forums and fun, the 3 McKinney High Schools decided to explore Dallas. We stopped by Spaghetti Warehouse for dinner after a nice walk!

The Mighty District Board

The last day of DCON, we feasted on all-you can-eat breakfast burritos. The goodbye speeches from retiring board members were pretty emotional...actually everyone was emotional. Many friendships were made during DCON, so saying goodbye was not easy.
